Conference 2012

Our next annual conference will be in Ottawa on May 31-June 1, 2012 preceded by an executive meeting on May 30. Join us for an interesting and informative two days featuring dynamic speakers, diverse sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities. We also need conference volunteers! Contact Mary Newberry.

Three indexing courses are being taught by ISC/SCI members:

• Indexing: An Essential Art and Science (Simon Fraser University – taught by Karen Griffiths, former ISC/SCI British Columbia representative)
• Indexing: Theory and Application (University of California at Berkeley Extension – taught by Heather Ebbs, ISC/SCI past president)
• Indexing for Books, Journals, and Reports (Ryerson University – taught by Mary Newberry, current ISC/SCI co-president)

Toronto area indexers' meeting

On the third Saturday of most months, from 2:30 to 4:30, Toronto indexers gather to talk shop. Contact Chris Blackburn for details. Members and non-members are all welcome.
